Folks I think it is beginning to happen! As Americans are getting more and more exposed to certain Indian accents, it is moving away from a thing of derision to one of …yes…attraction!
I was watching the “Kumars at 42” (or something close) - they are playing that in the US now and the woman next to me commented I shouldn’t lose my accent completely! Rest is private but you get the idea!
