Now Sri Lanka may still win this (though it seems unlikely now)....but I have to say that besides M&M, the Sri Lankans haven't exactly set the stands on fire either in the Test Series or the ODIs.
Oddly, India - despite succumbing to Mendis every single time - could have still won the Test Series if only they had not let the Sri Lankan tailenders linger on for 100 runs in the fag end of the SL 1st innings (3rd Test).
I think what I am trying to say is that take out Mendis and there is not much to choose between these two teams.

The game looked done and dusted when SL were 94/7, but Jaywardane almost took Sri Lanka home. Good knock by him.
