I dont know why Karthik is playing like a crap now days. When he came on the scene, he was a better wicket keeper than dhoni. Now he seem to compete with Akmal for the worst wicketkeeper in the world, title. Seems like he lacks genuine confidence and all that aggression he is showing are fake, to mask his lack of self confidence. Its a pity though. I thought he had it in him to become a great wicket keeper for India.

There was little to choose between the wicket-keeping skills of Karthik and Dhoni when Karthik/Dhoni played in the same team during the tour of England last year and also before that.
Now, it is not just that Karthik is dropping catches, but he was making heavy weather of even regulation takes behind the stumps....it seemed as if we were playing a part-time wicket-keeper.
Plus, his batting has been abysmal right since the Pakistan tour of India.
