Kohli needs to get over his brotherly love for Nohit and Harbhajan. How Nohit is in the team when an established batsman like Pujara is warming the bench is beyond me. Rahane Vijay and Pujara are technically the mist sound batsmen in Indian Test cricket.
Kohli gave the game away in the first inning. Ashwin was bowling well from one end. Had taken t wickets in something like 6 overs for 5 runs. Then Kohli brings Harbhajan from that end. Mives Ashwin to another end. Persisted with Harbhajan while he was getting slaughtered. Mishra had onky 8 overs. And had 2 wickets. But Kohli didn’t give him the chance to get more.
Especially since Ashwin was already going after left handers. So Mishra leg spin wouod have been ideal to go after righties.
Nohit was uncomfortable in first innings before getting out. He didn’t last long enough in 2nd inning to be uncomfortable.
