I must say I am really impressed by the chase jadeja, dhoni and ashwin put it. From nowhere they pulled off this match.
especially after Dhoni out. I know Jadeja was out Caught behind, and I couldnt really understand how empire missed such a big edge.
but still, he made sure that India gets it in the end.
It was a small ground and everything, but still INDIA has got some serious talent in their late order. Also in their bowling line, they have some serious pace bowlers now, Shami, Aron, and there is another guy bowl 140 plus, otherwise INDIAN bowling line is always had seemers, medium fast bowlers with good control over line and always had good spinners.
on the other hand, Pakistan is getting some good bowling alrounders like bhatti, hamad azam, anwar ali.
but still we always have problems in out batting.
I think INDIA has a very good chance in next world CUP (ODI)

jadega was very lucky to tie the match apart from the incident you mentioned he was dropped at least two times and once missed stumping. India has lost two matches and this one was a lucky tie and that also against NZ, doesnt say much about their team and also the next world cup is not in India so looking at their overseas record their chances dont seem very bright.
I agree. India is not very impressive overseas. but I am saying they have gathered some good all rounders in their squad and is more competitive side rather than just being a strong batting side :)
India almost always went in with large number of batsmen/all-rounder, the same bowling line has been conceding 300+ runs lately so I wouldn't be too confident about them.

I agree. that is not a threatening/ feared bowling attack. but its very different than all time Indian conventional line up. jadega and ashwin are 2 quality spinners. Kumar keeps his line and length. quickies meant to be aggressive so often go for runs in return.
my point was India has got some pace in their bowling attack. and they have batting line till 9 and 10.
if you batting line can chase 300+ , you dont need to worry about some bowlers are going for runs.
Its a decent side with a mix of good young talent and some of experience.
