India wins by 6 wickets and 2.3 overs to spare.

Brilliant batting by Kaif who made 102 not out off 121 balls.

Re: India vs New Zealand, Game 5

good overall performance by indians .......

Re: India vs New Zealand, Game 5

Indian media as usual jumping up and down about "Team India's Victory".

Not an extra-ordinary performance in my opinion.

Bowling was pretty ordinary (Agarkar continues to torment me by his mere presence in the team).

Besides Kaif's dropping anchor and Dhoni's cameo at the end (in his usual hits-and-misses style), the batting was also the regular fare that the Indian team dishes out. Ganguly lived up to the expectation yet again !!

Plus, SHANE BOND was not there !!

Re: India vs New Zealand, Game 5

A more commendable indian victory in the sense that the scorecard looks solid. Everyone who batted reached double digits. Maybe its the first light of their renaissance.

Re: India vs New Zealand, Game 5

Good job India. Dravid's strike rate is a matter of concern as is lack of bowling edge in general. Surely we can get an all-rounder in place of Agarkar
