Re: India vs england 4th ODI Mumbai

There both teams are Tigers at home and mice away from home

Re: India vs england 4th ODI Mumbai

Reality check for England, have been thoroughly outplayed in this series

Re: India vs england 4th ODI Mumbai

Read that Aaron was consistently bowling over 140 kph. While his wicekts were tailenders, could this guy be the fast bowler that India is looking for?

Re: India vs england 4th ODI Mumbai

Yeah he did bowled fast and he can be India's fastest bowler ever

Re: India vs england 4th ODI Mumbai

Sharda makes some good points here. Pace bowling (in tests) is where India still have some work to do

Re: India vs england 4th ODI Mumbai

^ I think it is time to enjoy this nice victory. I would not have predicted such a one-sided contest.

In the 1st couple of tests, India was right up there toe to to with "English", but several close decisions made a big difference. I think a rematch with England in England, with fair umpiring will give a different results.

Also, not sure why India needs to be held to a different standard - most teams do well under home conditions. South asians tend to be too hard on themselves, me thinks.

Now just for some fun - Sachin's next 100 will be a match winner.

(I know this is not a popular view even among the Indian Guppies here)

Re: India vs england 4th ODI Mumbai

**True ... ? that same old desi beemari 'inferiority complex'

**I had predicted during the England-India series in England this Summer that the English seam attack w'd not be so potent in sub-continental conditions. On flat tracks you do need an express pace bowler and/or a world-class leggie. England have never been more than a decent ODI team. However I expect an India-England test series in India to be a much closer affair

Re: India vs england 4th ODI Mumbai

How awesome is my boy Kohli turning out to be? Technically correct but can accelerate. Very diverse. Maturing every day. Next Indian captain? Already has leadership experience (U-19 WC winning captain).

Re: India vs england 4th ODI Mumbai
