Seriously , Tendu is pissing me off bigtime. I have lost all respect for him. He is so clearly playing for his century. I hope he gets out before he gets there. He is playing BD bowlers as if they are all McGraths. The bugger needs to learn something from Dravid who got out trying to score quickly.
Some1 Jee, believe me, Wasim Jaffer was doing this much worse yesterday. The time when he was at the crease, the slow run rate went unnoticed. Tendulkar is at least playing and picking the fielders. Jaffer left anything that was outside the off-stump. It was a misery to watch.
I agree on what you have said. Sachin has wasted too many deliveries.

When Jaffer was batting, one could understand the need to secure wickets.
Now the score is 480-1 and India is looking to get as many runs as possible before they declare - yet Tendu is playing as if India is 30/5 or something.
He is clearly playing to better his statistics. I hope he does not get his century.

I have never seen an Aussie batsman selfishly pursuing his hundred ignoring the interest of the team. The sad part is that the vast majority of statistics-obsessed desi public generally feel that its okay for a batsman to slow down when approaching century even when match circumstances demand otherwise.
