Spock.. that was back in 90's, things have changed significantly now.. one of our friends from UAE went to India for another friends wedding in 2005 and even though she is a US citizen(UAE resident) it took about 4 months to get the visa! It was a big hassle and thats what scares me!

Daagh.. I spoke to her today.. she will definitely get me an invite for the shadi as soon as possible and also she will check with her dad for more details for her family... so I will be meeting up with her on Friday to discuss more for the application.. Also, she told me that if we travel in India by car, there is a check post every 200 miles so we should rather stick to train journey.. what do you suggest? We would love to go to Agra, Rajisthan, Goa and more.. I need to do my research with you guys and Nimko!!
Niksik.. hmmm I do have a green card.. I hope it doesnt become a problem.. I wont be in Pakistan when my husband would apply for the visa, lets see how the process goes!!
