Poor Sehwag couldn't score the rare feat, great batting display by him. Even if it was a flattest track how many players have achieved that on such tracks? I am sure there are dime-a-dozen flat-tracks in sub-continent but not many players score so many double centuries.

Thanks to a great batting display by Sehwag & Dhoni and able support by Dravid, Sachin & Laxman India have a 333 run lead with 2 days to spare. As a fan I couldn't ask for more :)

^ 1,100+ runs in three days. must be bowling paradise… if this is not phatta wicket, then what is?

In case you didn’t notice, 700+ of those 1100+runs were scored by one team. If it was that easy to bat on, everyone would be scoring 700+ runs.

1,100 runs = Superlative Indian batting + OK batting by Dilshan and Mathews (rest of the SL batting struggled)

While not anywhere near a minefield, I’m not sure its a complete phatta track like Ahmedabad either. Commentators have been talking about bounce and turn from Day 1. Let’s see how the Lankans do today.
