thats what wrong with you guys,expecting sachin to be the god,where were you when dravid was out of form for last 2 years this series is come back for him where as sachin as been form of life for the last two years,dravid was at his peak between 2001-07,sachin was around 90-20s and started recently from 2008s,everyone has their time,overall stats shows who is better consistently in all forms of the game.and don't expect sachin to play laxman's role at position which he bats.

we should be lucky for having this champion batsmens each have their own strength if only we had some fast bowlers to back this guys we would have been another west indies or australia

Happy for Broad - he deserved a break after so many dropped catches last 2 matches.

But this was same ump who gave not out to a plumb lbw while England batted. Me thinks he may turn out to be next Harper.

Not contesting Tendulkar is great. But when chips are down, time and again it is Laxman and Dravid, IMHO

Anyway, got to see hat-trick for 1st time in my life. And that last catch by Bell was unbelievable. Good times!

For sure..

And he is still only 25. I believe he will improve further (esp. his bowling) with time. Fast bowlers often peak in their early to mid twenties. Broad is an all-rounder and all-rounders generally peak between say 25/26 to 32/33 years of age. Stuart Broad has the talent to emulate Botham and Flintoff

There have indeed been a few dubious LBW decisions (outs + notouts) in this game but I strongly feel that India have only themselves to blame for the bad calls. They were the ones who opposed the ball-tracking technology (Hawk Eye) for no good reason. As I keep saying here, technology is not foolproof (probably never will be) but it IS still more accurate (95-99% accurate) than the naked eye

Agreed, most of those bad calls have been made by the South African umpire Erasmus
