India Tour of England 2011

Re: India Tour of England 2011

224 - a fighting total - for T20

Re: India Tour of England 2011

It might be Endulkar (in English conditions) for Tendulkar unless he Spendulkar more time in the nets IMO.

Re: India Tour of England 2011

Will India cross 300 in this series?

Re: India Tour of England 2011

Post 302 is hilarious - and original! Cracked me up!!

Re: India Tour of England 2011

Indian batsman Shreesanth was unbeaten yet again - in the last 8 months, he has been dismissed only once in Test cricket.

Re: India Tour of England 2011

he should come in as an opener :D

Re: India Tour of England 2011

i Think at the Oval they'll have it easier to cash in as it's more of a flat track apart from others in England

Re: India Tour of England 2011

in one inning? or by adding score of two? :konfused:

58.6

Sharma to Bell, no run, 136.1 kph, a hint of inward seam to end the over, Bell covers the line well and defends this time.

58.5

Sharma to Bell, FOUR, 130.1 kph, someone needs to give the Indian team a screening of the movie 'The Third Man'. It's a good movie, and it is an equally good fielding position. :D Short ball outside off, Bell rides the bounce and steers it between second slip and gully. Easy peasy four.

58.4

Sharma to Bell, no run, 133.1 kph, Ishant is banging them in, and Bell is going for his shots. Short of a length outside off, cramping Bell for room, who still looks to force it through gully. Can't time it this time.

58.3

Sharma to Bell, FOUR, 133.2 kph, inside edged but it runs away for four. Short and wide, asking to be cut again, but Bell edges it past the stumps and it runs away to fine leg.

58.2

Sharma to Bell, FOUR, 136.3 kph, what a response! Ishant gives him a touch of width this time, Bell cracks it away past point for four.

58.1

Sharma to Bell, no run, 134.1 kph, starts with a lovely, rearing offcutter that kept coming in. Bell was stuck on the crease, initially thinking of steering it, and then tries to stay beside the line and defend. Manages to get it down towards slip.

Re: India Tour of England 2011

^ Bell is gone nuts, riding his luck !

In International thats more than Fighting total, for IPL i cant say.

Re: India Tour of England 2011

Recent overs . 4 . . . 6 | . . . 4 . 4 | 4 . 1 . 1 1 | 4 .

is this ODI or Test :hmmm:

Re: India Tour of England 2011

At Tea

England 319/2 (82.0 ov)
England lead by 95 runs with 8 wickets remaining in the 1st innings

  • England RR 3.89
  • Last 10 ovs 63/0 RR 6.30
  • Min overs remaining 33.0

Unless some miracle happens here, India is facing an Inning defeat. If they keep on batting like this for the rest of the day, lead will be somewhere around 250 at the end of day 2.

Re: India Tour of England 2011

Royal chitrool of Indian fast bowlers is underway

Recent overs . 1 4 . . . | 1 . 1 1 . 4 | 1 1 1 . 1 1 | . 4 2 4 . 4

Last 10 overs / 80 Runs

KP: 61 runs on 59 balls with 9 fours and 1 six

Let me take my last post back. If they keep on batting like this, they will take lead to 300 today. Unfortunately, bowlers just dont know what to do.

This wicket would have been gold for indian batsmen had they applied themselves.

Re: India Tour of England 2011

Peterson is making it look so easy !
Its not an ideal batting wicket.

I thought England wants to be number 1. They dont only want to be number one but make India no.3. England wins 4 - 0 and India will be no.3

Is England playing Africa soon ? thats going to be good series.

Re: India Tour of England 2011

At this rate it looks like I will have to go to the ground on Saturday to celebrate English victory.

114.1
Raina to Morgan, no run, 89.2 kph, oh no! Dravid drops it. Aw dear. Morgan pushed outside off and the man with the most catches in Test history spills the edge. He threw his cap down in anger and it's actually rather sad

:( I really feel for Dravid. Drop catch in the last over of the day. Would have been a booster for India.

Re: India Tour of England 2011

**from Cricinfo:

Stumps** Toil for India, hard toil. Just three wickets in the day and Alastair Cook finishes 182 not out. It's been relentless from England, they have ground India's bowlers into dust. India have looked completely spent, dropping catches, fielding badly, and dragging themselves with no enthusiasm around the field. You won't get many more one-sided days than that. England lead by 232 and show no signs of abating. If that wasn't bad enough for the tourists, the pitch is showing signs of spin and variable bounce.

Re: India Tour of England 2011

I guess they will bat till Tea tomorrow if they can. That will give them enough score and rough-up the pitch more.

Re: India Tour of England 2011

Nearly 400 runs in a day for just 3 wickets. what a mauling!

Re: India Tour of England 2011

Awesome batting by Strauss,Cook and Pieterson England on the verge of of a huge lead they should bat two sessions tomorrow and bowl out India and win it tomorrow :@:
