^^^ So, why you got excited?....Just because the word "spy" floated in news? or is it usual evil Hindoo+Jeeews conspiring BS??

India has a mature space program, a result of decades of hard work and commitment of ISRO, inspite of low budget, tech denial during 80s and 90s era, ISRO has come out as one of the leading Space Agencies in modern world.

Besides the satellite is going to be launched by India's PSLV rocket, which is a workhorse of ISRO and had launched sucessfully several satellites in past.

Recent launch of Chandrayaan, India's first Moon Mission was also by this rocket.

Apart from, Imaging Satrellite, it is also carrying a small satellite from Anna University for students educational research.

All the best to ISRO!

Re: India to send a Spy Satellite on 20th April, 2009

Vietnam war teaches us one thing- only things needed to win a war are himmat, jazba and junoon. If Allah(swt) is with you, even mightier bullets and nuclear bombs can't do anything to a pakka momin. Almost all Indian technologies are either bought from Israel or Soviet Union- so I doubt they can operate the satellites.

Re: India to send a Spy Satellite on 20th April, 2009

^^
'they' have already successfully sent a satellite to moon, Chandrayan-I.

Re: India to send a Spy Satellite on 20th April, 2009

None of the Vietnam resistance were muslims, so how do you reconcile your 1st and 2nd sentence? Most of them were Bhudhists/Christians/atheists

Re: India to send a Spy Satellite on 20th April, 2009

Mshallah. This is very good news. It is about time someone kept an eye on Bangladesh.

Re: India to send a Spy Satellite on 20th April, 2009

Don't worry brothers. Taliban will send a suicide satellite after it.

Re: India to send a Spy Satellite on 20th April, 2009

Lol, how you are sure that others don't have God with them. If you have Allah with you then others also have Ishwar/God/Jesus with them. So think out of your religious prejudice, and don't bring religious bravado in every freaking matter otherwise you will end up putting Gods of different faiths in direct competition LOL.

Re: India to send a Spy Satellite on 20th April, 2009

How the satellite launch is a threat to you?.

Do you mean even if India takes measures for her internal safety and security that becomes an automatic threat to Pakistan?

I too have nothing against you personally. But the contempt with which you look at India is what I pointed.

Re: India to send a Spy Satellite on 20th April, 2009

The satellite was successfully launched today -

BBC NEWS | South Asia | India launches key spy satellite

India says it has successfully launched a spy satellite that will be able to track movement on its borders. The Israeli-built Radar Imaging Satellite was launched from the space centre at Sriharikota in southern Andhra Pradesh state.
The satellite was carried on the Indian Space Research Organisation’s PSLV-C12 rocket.
India has an ambitious space programme that last October saw its first unmanned mission to the Moon.
The 300kg satellite has been placed in orbit about 550km (340 miles) above the Earth.
Observers say monitoring the borders with Pakistan will be a key task given the strained relations in the wake of last November’s Mumbai attacks.
The satellite can take images through all weather conditions and as well as defence duties it will be able to monitor natural disasters such as floods and landslides.
The satellite was developed by Israel Aerospace Industries.
The rocket also contained the Anusat educational satellite, which will help transfer confidential material such as examination questions as well as track urban planning developments and the effects of drought.
In October India successfully launched its first unmanned lunar craft, Chandrayaan 1, to map the Moon’s surface and look for traces of water and the presence of helium.
The mission was regarded as a major step for India as it sought to keep pace with other space-faring nations in Asia.
