The last two accused spies (I think there were two of them) that the Pakistan govt released went back to India and admitted they were spies. Apparently they were bitter over the treatment they received at the hands of the Indian govt on their arrival. So that gives some credibility to the Pakistanis. Sarabjit I believe claims to have been nothing more then a hapless drunk who stumbled across the border by accident. Doesn’t seem probable however. Regardless, I dont think he deserves the death penalty, even if he is a spy.

That India killed Kasab shouldn’t have any bearing on this case. Killing Sarbjit just to spite India doesn’t reflect well on anyone.
