^I wonder what would happen after the games are over? Would the families be removed from the flats?
For this temporary sweeping of poverty under the rug..........how will they manage to relocate all of the unwanted? Also, I wonder if the poor will be offended by this purging (especially those that are not given a flat and other forms of compensation...) and end up rebelling or having a strike.
How about employing some of the beggars for beautification and clean-up tasks? At least they'll get paid.....can help feed their families, etc.
