The government and its system allows the sexualisation of society it permits the continual 24 hour bollywood/ advertising/ entertainment industry to degrade the woman. the image of scantly clad women is pumped into the heads of people non stop just turn on the TV open a magazine walk down the street its in your face you cannot escape it.

the women is devalued and shown as easy is it any wonder 792% increase of rape in india is it any wonder women scared to travel in streets of delhi?

It is the system it has failed to protect women

I grant you all your positions! The system fails to protect women. Indian society and culture denigrate and devalue women and girls. When you mix ultra-sexualized movies with the massive third-world mentality, it’s a toxic mix. The police tacitly approve, by looking the other way when poor women are raped. All are true!

But your indictment was against democracy. How is democracy to blame? What system of governance prevents this? The parts of the world with the highest equality for women and least cases of rape, are all democracies. Your indictment should be against cultures and religions that relegate women. Your indictment against a system of governance is not only unfounded, but it’s misguided.

Yes, civilized society should demonstrate that it’s capable of middle age actions when pushed! We should show that we’re also capable of perpetrating horrendous violence! Because everyone knows, when you draw and quarter people, rapes will stop!
