Those who were inquiring about army’s reaction to this provocation, here it is. The government is still missing.
If the army has to respond to each and everything it may as well take over the reigns of the country. The champions of democracy would be jumping the highest if that happens.
we can’t choose our neighbors…can we? we all must learn to live together in at least some harmony. let’s hope and pray for the sanity to prevail…aameen
Was the exile post-99 so bad that nawaz sharif lost all this marbles or was he always dumb and PTV covered up for it? There are stories of him running up the stairs to do a greet and shake with clinton in 1999, though now that even seems ‘improbable’. This guy puts zardari to shame let alone musharraf who was responding back to indians today…
As for modi and his monkey brigade, I think that some intense shelling, err heavy artillery barrage, is in order to put them in their place. Their country is going off track economically and bjp still thnks india is america.

I'm very much pro-peace and times like these when I realise how utterly glad I am that Pakistan has one of the largest and strongest armies in the world.

mashaa Allah! :)
Yes I live in Pakistan, specifically Karachi, and are you denying the figures on this website? If you are then point one out and I'll give you another source that compliments it.

You are talking about conventional strength, yes India enjoys superiority there but lets not forget both countries are nuclear states and if India tries to muscle its way into Pakistan due to its numerical and armaments superiority than it should be ready for what will follow and believe me India is scared of that.

and that is how Pakistan shut them out last time we were at verge of war.
Both nations have nuclear weapons. The difference is in attitudes.
Pakistan and Pakistanis both have a toddler mentality when it comes to competition with India. Our army generals, politicians and civilians all keep on threatening India with nuclear weapons. Its like a small child who would use its biggest weapon on smallest of conflicts.
Whereas India on the other hand has never made such threats, at-least their leadership seems sensible.
The idea that nuclear program is just like an insurance policy, while other strategies and strengths should give us a competitive edge in order to use that policy effectively should be considered by us all.

What you said has been proven quite a few times.. :) - India is the smalest violine that makes the biggest noise...

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Nearly five years after India and Pakistan
became nuclear powers, New Delhi is finally coming to terms with what
that status means -- the threat of a Pakistani first strike has
neutralized its conventional superiority.
Analysts say last year's inconclusive military standoff between the
neighbors highlighted what many had feared when the two conducted tit-
for-tat nuclear tests in 1998, that India would no longer dare go to
war with Pakistan.

You can say that India has toddler mentality when it comes to conventional weapons and the only way to shut them up is to remind them of the consequences of their misadventure if hey dare to attack Pak.
