At best for the time between 1967 when he graduated from wherever in London to 1971 when he went back to the UK. His schooling uptil that point had been in India.

His parents did move to Pakistan in the 65 war and lived there, but he was independently living in the UK by then.

they moved to pakistan before the war in 64. from there he went to uk to study i guess.
