I dont remember. i heard it from him in some interview. i think he even worked for PTV for a while
At best for the time between 1967 when he graduated from wherever in London to 1971 when he went back to the UK. His schooling uptil that point had been in India.
His parents did move to Pakistan in the 65 war and lived there, but he was independently living in the UK by then.
Dont tell me that you guys didnt know about his Pakistani connection :O
big surprise man, i guess no body likes to talk about him in Pakistan. BTW his family is still in karachi me thinks.

*Indians have great ambition, and they can talk a big game, but they have little to show for it. *
Some of the saner members of the Indian community realize how limited ther countries capacity is, but apparently this reporter thinks otherwise.
A similar attempt by Indians to find their alleged terrorists would be fiasco for the Indians. Pakistans border with India is heavily militarized for one, so they wouldn't make it into Pak to begin with, but once in, they would definitely not make it out.
Indian armed forces had made it clear to the Govt. Of India that its time for India for precision strikes on targets Pakistani kashmir after terror attacks, to make a point.
Its politicians of India that pulled ears of the Army Chief and was literally scolded for making such remarks.
Today, Indian Armed forces have the capacity, strategy and the know-how to fight wars on two fronts with Pakistan and China at the same time.
Its the politicians that talk big and have nothing to show for.

Really! India can fight on two fronts!
Im not sure whether to laugh at that or ignore it as some Indians drugged up fantasy...
PS: I guess...Pakistan Taliban are more successful sofar in attacking Pakistan from within than the US or others... :D
PS1: And after the khichri...men will say...ah what we have done...just bit the dust...we used to fly & bomb...and now we are entering into the eternal dust...lol
India lacks a political will to conduct such raids.
Not only the political, but India has a big Business (National and Multinational) Lobby that put hugh amount of Pressure on Politicians not to carry out any raids or take any action.
When bilions of dollars of FDI is flowing in, Indias Business cannot afford even a skirmish. Indian Armed forces have just no say in carrying out the strikes.
All Pakistan has a Mullah Lobby and Military Lobby, there exists not Business Lobby. Even if it exists Pak Fauj and Politicians dont care about it, they just have to appease the Mullah/taliban Lobby.
Mullahs are their first and their only priority. Pak Fauj ki daud Mullah tak.
