India tests nuclear-capable Agni II missile

Actually It is working just fine for us. There were some delays - but what the hell - war is not going to happen tomorrow now, is it ;)

The fruit of labour ?

We regularly launch satellites for other nations. For a fees. And we have increased our market share enough to worry some more developed nations :biggthumb

That is the way.nations.develop.

Yeap, war is never the solution :)

I congratulate you on the 10 year old AGni II success again :)

Thanks. Each success adds to the capabilities. :)

Re: India tests nuclear-capable Agni II missile

my condolences to all indian neighbours.

The hard work is paying off :)

India has an operational missile arsenal that is now number three in the region, behind China and Pakistan. (I dont want to to antagonize you by bringing up Irans test last week)

Finally ---- a good laugh :D

In terms of regional missile capability:

China is number 1

Pakistan and India are tied for 2nd place

Iran is probably 4th but Iran is not competing with Pakistan or India but with USA, NATO and Israel and in that regards it is sorely far behind

Iran has a habit of re-painting its missiles and then launching it and claiming it has special capabiities, etc....

typical Iranian nonsense

The advantage Pakistan has is that it has a lighter nuke war head, so given two missiles with similar range Pakistan can get a larger range, while India can not as per the "lighter payload" in the news item.

The best argument for India is that Agni II covers most of Pakistan, so Agni III-V are part of the larger strategic objectives in the region aimed at China, not at Pakistan.

How about reducing illiteracy, poverty, providing basic services, protecting the rights of citizens and building up infrastructure.

The truth is there are lots of things that come before missiles/weapons for China, Pakistan, & India.

Re: India tests nuclear-capable Agni II missile

I am impressed wiseguyin! Croquet seems to have lost some family member in the recent drone strikes!:stuck_out_tongue:

Here is another quiz for you: Which country has the largest defence expenditure?
Another: Which country has the largest defence expenditure as a proportion of GDP?

Once you answer these , we will go from there.

Consider it home-work.

By the way - we spend an optimal amount on our defence considering the sheer numbers of b#@$ that we are surrounded by. We are currently focussed on our
economy even in the face of grave provocations.

Do you know that we have increased our crop yield by the weather data collected by INSAT satellites? Or the fact that we have actually been at the forefront of
distance education via our satellites that beam lectures to every corner of the country?

Final quiz to make your day: Are there more Indians climbing out of poverty today? (Take the first 40-50 years after independence as a measure.)

Now name that great land of pure people where absolute poverty is actually increasing.

PS: Sorry for the delay - I was enjoying the long weekend doing some rafting.

Since India can not find a anyone willing to sell it missile technology and you “have” to make it yourself

why dont you fold these quizes and make a paper airplane  Maybe it will get your raneg to be equal to Pak

Im going on vacation till MOnday but here is an exercise for you to do until then to make missile out of the quizes.

Paper Airplanes - the best origami paper planes to fold and fly

ps: not using your sundhu 786 id today ?

If that helps you sleep better, thats what it is :)

The limitations of Indian missile capabilities do not pain me enough to affect my sleep patterns :)

Not that am really into pak vs India politics. If indians were that advanced in missile technology they wudnt need anything from israel.

If u really think that india is better than pak in every aspect then india shld have openly declared war against pak by now..... in my opnion india is killing Pak from inside cheaply but dont have guts to declare war openly Or i guess this is the modern way to fight other countries.

This is indeed true. When compared to the US/Russian systems - our missile systems indeed have some limitations. But having sent the lunar mission recently, I am confident we are rapidly bridging the gap (since the technologies used are similar).

I can’t wait to see the manned mission to moon take wings :hypo:

Thanks for your concern, though we dont really need it. I hope you understand

Here comes another one… After a whole thread discussing what did and did not go wrong with our systems he asks …

Umm .. we dont missiles from Israel. We need radars … Those boys in Tel Aviv are pretty good with that.

And then another one …

Ummm … What??? How old are you?

Yeah - It is indeed hanood and yahoods who are wreaking violence inside pakistan. (And this comes from a homo-sapien (?) whose armies official motto is jihad !! And whose people openly call for terrorism against kaffirs with jehad donation boxes adorning the streets)

Why-o-why do the kaffirs allow these people to come to their countries and prosper …

Thats a good post, you seem like you are at least 21. Congratulations, you can have beer :) You do not need to intoxicate yourself with your hatred for Pakistan.

You should add China, Pakistan, Israel to that list. & even Saudi Arabia has operational missiles with a larger range than Agni II.

Re: India tests nuclear-capable Agni II missile

indian missiles are a joke

Re: India tests nuclear-capable Agni II missile

Talk about an inferiority complex. An indian posting news about Indian on a Pakistani forum.

;) Talking about inferiority complex - how about a Pakistani troll jumping into a thread about India only to post irrelevant trash ?
