India should follow US and Israel lead.

I am sick and tired of these attacks. Indian Army should do what the US is doing, and what Israel has been doing for years - anyone that opposes them they bomb them.

The US and Israel can get away with it, why can’t we?

India ‘rebel blast’ kills police

*At least 26 policemen have been killed in a landmine attack in eastern India, officials say. *

Terrible.

Re: India should follow US and Israel lead.

Two reasons not to do so:

  1. Nobody bombs their own citizens, except probably the worst tyrants.
  2. The USA’s and Israel’s methods aren’t really effective in achieving a permanent solution. Such methods only further alienate the “rebels”/ “opposition”.

Dialogue is the only way out.

Re: India should follow US and Israel lead.

Get over your superpower delusions. Israel and America can do it and India can’t - because India is not even a fraction of what Israel and America are. And in forseeable future it wont be, it better learn to live with it’s neighbours instead of bullying them - maybe they can help solve such problems.

Dialogue with fanatical terrorists does not work. Only killing them works, but I don't know what kinds of people india is fighting in the east. So it depends.

Exactly, let them drag more US bodies in Iraq.

For every 4 Americans, it is 450 Iraqis and a mosque. By that count, it is half a battalion for all Iraqis. Not a bad idea. But do the math again, I might have inflated something.

And result in the death of 500 iraqis which will make you happy.

Any idea when 2 new US battalions arrive in Iraq?

So you admit it was ISI that's in kahoots with Bodo separatists in these blasts?

Your comment about India and Israel not being at the same level ignores the reality that US pours $3 billion per year in arming Israel. India pays for its army itself. Let US pull out its military aid to Isreal and see how long Israel will last.

Arvind man, the staunch Indian patriot you are, other than the Bodos, you should add to your list every single blast and every fly that died in Indieland, heck even the heatwaves of the past that killed 100s as activities that were sponsored by ISI. Agreed, ISI is really good, but doesnt your government get bored of blaming every other calamity in Indieland on this agency?

It just points out to a very important problem - living in the state of self denial. With all those rebel movements across India, your government can not come to terms with the fact that people DO have issues - serious issues with it. They definitely need to be addressed rather than addressing to ISI as the problem all the time.

I guess with 400+ million people living over poverty in the superpower thats India, it deserves to look more into this rather than spending billions on it's armed forced.

ONLY a extremely foolish and short sighted person will think about india going the usa or israel way
india has a different history and geography than israel and usa.
if india takes the israeli route there is no barrier to stop human bombs in india.

Confettiguy,

Is ISI isn't the problem that I say it is, then why did Mushrraf tossed out its top generals when they had different agenda than what he wanted?Or are you going to deny that too?
