India’s Self-deception on Kashmir

By Sajjad Shaukat

On June 28, this year, Indian Prime Minister](ERRP | Expired Registration Recovery Policy) Manmohan Singh said in an ** interview**](ERRP | Expired Registration Recovery Policy) that Pakistan should “leave Kashmir alone](ERRP | Expired Registration Recovery Policy).” Singh’s statement came after Pak-India secretary level talks concluded on June 24 at Islamabad…

I agree with Singh
that Pakistan should “leave Kashmir alone](ERRP | Expired Registration Recovery Policy).”
Pakistan is actually committed to it.
India and Pakistan both should
“leave Kashmir alone](ERRP | Expired Registration Recovery Policy).”
Let the Kashmiris decide.

Re: India’s Self-deception on Kashmir

Instead of crying for Kashmir we should first put our own house in order. Since our independent we hv tried to get Kashmir in our kitty by every possible way. We fought 3 wars with India and lost half of our country. We have to agree that India has became much stronger economically and we cannot match its financial and military power. To make the situation worse. US has chosen India to counter China's growing power; so it will render all the required diplomatic, military, espionage and moral support to India as it is giving to Israel. The most important reason for it is growing Islamophobia all over the globe. We are making our own mockery by claiming terrorist as freedom fighter. World will never agree on our concepts if we don't have anything concrete and substantial. Religious emotions have no currency in international diplomacy. We must first teach the world that the true face of Islam is peace and not terrorism. We failed to internationalized Kahsmir issue even in OIC as most of OIC members (S.Arabia, Iran, Turkey, INdonesia) have invested heavily in India due to the better returns its markets offer. We are not a country of consensus: Kalabagh is an example. We are more worried about Kashmiri Muslims but forget that there are more Muslims in Pakistan and their needs are more urgent. The cry of weak always fall to dumb ears. We should first make our own country strong and then shout for Ummam of the world. Kashmir, Palestine, Chechenya can wait but can we afford to reapeat Bangladesh in Baluchistan?

Re: India’s Self-deception on Kashmir

Sir we can't leave behind kashmir only some Indian slaves demand that we are in trouble because of our policies of betraying the ummah of HARZAT MUHAMMAD SAW and will keep getting into trouble until and unless we support kashmirs in every way possible

Re: India’s Self-deception on Kashmir

Re: India’s Self-deception on Kashmir

.... and u know which labels are being printed for u ...... Kafir or Ghaddar or in some case both

That unfortunatly is the tone :(

Re: India’s Self-deception on Kashmir

We should give independence to Azad Kashmir - not Gilgit Baltistan because GB acceded to Pakistan by declaring independence from Kashmir and acceding to Pakistan before Kashmir acceded to India.

Azad Kashmir can be an example to the rest of the world that Pakistan is not an occupying force like India.

We should also stop supporting militant groups which are based in Pakistan and operate in Indian occupied Kashmir.

The Kashmiri freedom movement - violent or non violent - must be indigenous - like the Naxalites.
