Re: India President's X1 vs England X1
Right now the highlights r shown on Ten Sports Mid-East :D
Man Pieterson just ra**d VRV Singh in an over that read 4 6 4 4 0 4
That VRV Singh guy has an god action (a bit similar to Agarkar or better say Srinath) but good height and certainly a strong body ..... got good speed arond 135+
But soon retired hurt ..... the rest of Pomms rather disappointed
Re: India President's X1 vs England X1
Guys you are looking at two matches......... First one was CCI Presdent XI or something (That's what ehsan bhai posted).
Now the second match with BCCI's President XI. This team has new prospects and people staking claim for the main team are tested. Score at the end of day One of that match is..
England All out 238
Board President XI 93/1
Re: India President's X1 vs England X1
People are so quick to open a thread when there is some hope but than they forget all about it or maybe they pretend they forgot ;)
Re: India President's X1 vs England X1
People have this habit of embrassing selectors. Gambhir hits a century against England.... :-).
President XI declare at 342/8
England batting now... 3/0
Re: India President's X1 vs England X1
Good score by President X1
Re: India President’s X1 vs England X1
This is funny, before Patel bowls well, than Gambhir scores a century. Now Patel again, following are his figures as of now in England Second innings…
MM Patel](http://live.cricinfo.com/india/content/player/32965.html) *(RMF)*4 Overs 3 Maiden 4 Runs 1 Wicket (0nb, 0w)
:))… Selectors must be running towards grave… :))
Re: India President’s X1 vs England X1
^:hehe:
Re: India President's X1 vs England X1
Its really hearting to see how the players react to the decisions made by the selectors. Not only does that prove the character of the back up players but also the Indian bench strenght.
Re: India President’s X1 vs England X1
Not yet. They probably will do that if Kaif fails in the first test:hehe:
Re: India President's X1 vs England X1
**England XI 238 & 158
Indian Board President's XI 342/8d & 58/2 (17.0 ov) **Indian Board President's XI won by 8 wickets
Patel again takes 5 wickets......... and Jafar got out early in second innings and Gambhir again scores 22 not out........ :-))
Re: India President's X1 vs England X1
This is munaf's thid ranji season and 3rd team .... he is trying hard to get selected in the national team .........
Re: India President's X1 vs England X1
He fought with Gujarat Officials or lets say there was some confusion.
He Shifted to Mumbai, but that's tough team to get into
hence he shifted to Maharashtra team
Re: India President's X1 vs England X1
oh, dumbo Kiran More and gang will just wait till he gets old enough to become harmless to batsmen...in the mean time we'll try the others who have already become senile
Re: India President's X1 vs England X1
Why in darnation is Kiran More a selector? he was a useless player and now proving to be a useless selector
Re: India President's X1 vs England X1
^I beg to differ. Kiran More was a talented wicket-keeper (I think the best we have had in business) and also a pugnacious batsman.
I only hate him when (as a selector) he tows the line of his Bosses and puts a spin to it - like selecting Ganguly as an ALL-ROUNDER. Resigning from the selection committee would have been the more respectful thing to do than having to bow to external pressure. But ex-players have an inherent need to stay in the lime-light - so does Kiran More.
Re: India President's X1 vs England X1
he played for mumbai .....
