Indian media is protesting the way pakistani players celebrated after the match…well they shd also point out the way indian crowd only supported its team throughout the match but honestly speaking, i was also a bit disappointed the way our players reacted. yes the indian crowd was only supporting its team throughout the match but our players got too emotional, took their shirts off, and expressed aggressive emotions towards the crowd… and i even saw one player showing fingers to indians…see the pic below. What kind of behavior is this? had they reacted sensibly and gracefully, they would have won more respect for pakistan.

if not that, then media would have been cursing Pakistani team for some other reasons… taking of shirts after scoring or winning is not something new in the region or in the this game… what happened in ground should have been left there only… but the defeat of Indian team and that is 2nd one in same day made them curse Pakistan even more badly as they cannot do it on Australians…

i see....didnt know that crowd was cursing our players throughout. i was little disappointed when i saw our player showing a finger with no shirt on. the issue is that what players do get a lot more publicity vs what crowd does. what players do will be published across the globe whereas no one will take notice of crowd. players therefore need to control their emotions. Had indians players behaved the same way in lahore after defeating pak, we would have criticized them as well.
in the end, i think emotions were running high....so lets move on. we have a very tough final ahead.
The Indian media forgot to mention the belligerent behavior of the Indian crowd, the players were riled up, even though they should not have gone that far. However, the poor sportsmanship of Indian supporters is well known be it cricket or any other sports.

BTW when indian team comes to our grounds we also return them the same favour. It should be known to the players.

They do not know how to cheer in German.Even if they do in English,Germans will not understand it.

If this match happened in Pk , do u think hamaree logon ke monh se phoolon ki barish ho rahi ho gi. I still remember the last match I saw in HCP karachi . It was a 5 mtch series bw india n pk n I learned some of the most creative ort of gaalian form our very own khi crowd.
Suppose a final is being played between india and America in Pk i m sure that evern taliban will favor AMeriaccan team atleast on that day.
I am not telling about the skill level of indian team rather the financial stregnth. Hockey need financial strength. Just few month back Haseem khan our fwd is forcefully being retired from his employment. He gave his young time of study for hockey now how any father will ask his son to put effort in playing hockey. If haseem khan wud have been in Austriilai or in Germany / netherlands considering his skills he wd have been star.
These are bitter truths . If we dont accpet atleast we will never improve.
