This will generate lot of funds for flood victims
KARACHI: Indian cricket legend Kapil Dev has endorsed the idea of holding a Pakistan-India cricket match to generate funds for the people affected by the floods in Pakistan.
“It’s a huge calamity and to help flood victims, Pakistan and India should ideally play either in Pakistan or India, but if it is not possible then a neutral venue in an option,” he told a private TV channel.
India’s World Cup winning captain said that he would discuss the proposal with the officials of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Kapil expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and property in Pakistan due to heavy floods.
