Re: India / Pak tensions

^^ Plus i dont think Clusters will be provided by US.Lost soul i think is right, they are banned.Such masala breaking news are to keep moral of indians high after all they are still in shock that how 2 men seized the whole Taj Hotel similarly 2 were in Oberoi. If 10 can stop life of Bombay for 3 days , what Pak Army 650,000 can do :smokin:

Yes Pak army in last 61 years has broken the constitution of Pakistan several times…played their jihadi adventures…double games…looted the nation dry from their resources…eaten all the social welfare budgets which would have been invested on eduction and general welfare of the country by converting the country in to a security state…destablising the political evolution of the country…destroying the judicial evolution of the country…and on top of that losing all most all the armed adventures they undertook in all these years…

My dear friend for this mafia defence plots which are resource of the cities which could have been used for welfare of the people as new demand for housing land every year can be turned in to a big resource for the welfare of people is more important than national interest…

Everyone in army who reached top 50 in last 30 years is a billionaire atleast in rupee terms…and they have fools like you who are praising them day and night…

Looks like India is making sure it is prepared for war?

Indian Army chief at Siachen Glacier to review preparedness

Indian Army chief General Deepak Kapoor on Monday rushed to the Siachen Glacier, the world’s highest battle field in Jammu and Kashmir, to take stock of the preparedness of the troops posted there.

The visit comes a day after the Pakistan Air Force checked its preparedness by flying fighter jets.

The Siachen Glacier is located at a height of up to 22,000 ft where Indian and Pakistan troops have been standing eyeball to eyeball since 1984.

“Kapoor went to the Siachen Glacier on a day’s visit. He flew down to the Kumar Post located at 16,000 ft,” a senior defence official said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

Maj Gen VK Ahluwalia, Commander of 14 Corps, briefed Kapoor on the security scenario on his way back.

Kapoor’s visit comes after a crucial ‘war room’ meeting of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh with Defence Minister AK Antony, External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee, Home Minister P Chidambaram and the three service chiefs last week to assess the overall security situation in the country.

The Army chief’s visit to the Siachen Glacier has come at a time when the tensions between India and Pakistan are high in the wake of the November 26 Mumbai terrorist attack.

India has sought to build pressure on Pakistan to take action against the perpetrators of the brazen terror attack who it has maintained had come from Pakistan. However, Islamabad continues to ask for more evidence.

External Affairs Minister Mukherjee has said the government was keeping all the options, including military action, open.

Cluster bombs were banned recently in the Convention on Cluster Munitions and 94 countries signed the convention. So the signatories will not use/produce/export the cluster bombs.

And the usual culprits did not sign:
China
India
Israel
USA
Pakistan

So in theory, India can buy cluster bombs from US, just as Israel did recently.

Trrrrrrn Trrrrrrrn.
Operator:Presidency; how can I help you?’
Caller:I wonder if I can speak to the president please.
Operator:He is spending some quality time with his bank statements. Do you think it could wait till morning?
Caller:I am afraid it is urgent. If it is not too inconvenient, can you please tell him that it is Videsh Mantri, Pranab Telephone Mukherjee from the South Block and I want to discuss limited nuclear war.
Operator:Hold the line please.
President:Hi, Telephone. What is keeping you awake at this time of night?
Telephone: O nothing much Rashtrpati Ji, thanks for taking my call. You know this incidence in Mumbai where two hundred civilians were slaughtered? Normally this would not bother me too much and I would not let this come into inter state relations. But these Sangh Parivar fundos are baying for blood. You know we have these elections coming up next year. Signora is getting worried. I wonder if it is not too inconvenient, we could take out one or two medium sized cities on your side?
President:Sounds like a capital idea. Don’t’ nuke Dubai though as my polo ponies and my Silver Phantom Rolls are still there. How does Quetta fetch you? It is reasonably remote, nearly a million population and a fertile breeding ground of royal pains in the backside, such as Judge Chaudhry and Lawyer Kurd.
Telephone:This would be most helpful Rashtrapati. Is there anything I can do for your. I guess Shri Kayani would like to test his strategic assets on us? I would recommend Jharkand or Imphal. You can tell him that if he chose these targets, we would understand.
President: That reminds me, do you still want to have Masood Azhar and Hafiz Saeed? You can have them and Maulana Lakhvi as well, as long you are willing to have Attorney General Khosa and Farooq Naek as well; bloody leeches. I have never seen such incompetent ministers. I wish I had not wasted so much money on them. I wish I had hired a good teacher to give tuition to Judge Dogar’s daughter instead. Things would not have such a mess. Are you interested in giving tuition in English? You could have me and Gilani Sahib as students, in addition to Ms Dogar.
Telephone:This sounds like a most satisfactory arrangement. We would have 3 to 4 million dead, reasonably equally balanced on two sides. There would be radioactive poisoning for a few million years and deformed children for a few thousand years. But roused passions would cool down on both sides and we could get on and normalise relations between the two countries.
President: Said like a true statesman. If you are coming to Islamabad any time soon, please drop in for a Sindhi Biryani. Before I forget, I should mention that I have been getting hoax calls from a chap claiming to be Telephone Mukherjee. Please be vigilant. You can’t be too careful these days. The whole world is looking up to us prevent accidental thermonuclear annihilation of human race.
Telephone: Well said. I will watch out for hoax telephone calls.
