lol thanks. it is more diverse then it is big. culture and architecture changes many times in the same state.

yes, uttarakhand is the latest state carved out of UP. It was first named uttranchal but later renamed to more ancient name uttrakhand.

Thanks Rangoli. it is a new state created in 2000 called Uttrakhand. It used to be a part of Uttar Pradesh ( UP) .
I have heard a lot about muree, i was told by a prominent pakistani that it is more like shimla which is a hill station in himachal pradesh.

Before independence muree and shimla were developed alike by the british. But i have never been to muree or shimla. but heard a lot of good things about muree ( especially the beverages :D )
but i was told by the same guy that rampant construction and crowd has actually degraded shimla. i hope the case is not same with muree.
