**^ since i'm n Indian Rail Enthusiast, i always wanted to visit Pamban Bridge...Indian Railways is in my blood because i grew up by the track-side. we used to sit on the rails with friends and chatted for hours, even in the middle of nights. :)
They should IMO they should connect Rameshwaram in India to a point in Sri Lanka by a Causeway. that will be a cheap way for millions of Indians and Sri Lankans and international tourists to between India and Sri Lanka and it would be a very Scenic Railway.

We all have a similar story about IR. just the sound of steam engine whistle brings smile on people’s face and energize the entire city.
I agree with the rameshwaram bridge. i had that in my mind for a while. it will be a trade boon and it would be fun to travel over the sea via train. i would like to sit on the steps of the train as we see them doing in the pamban bridge
Thanks rangoli. Infact i will dedicate this entire week for mumbai city
i love to fulfill farmaishes
This series of Mumbai pics will last for a week. Mumbai also a financial capitol of India is a world of its own. Personally i am not a big fan, and unlike Karachi Mumbai never had its Mustafa Kamal. So most of the development is done by the private sector which is at par with worlds best. the govt controlled infrastructure is creeky and has a lot of scope for improvement. though the govt has finally woken up and it is trying to keep up with other fast developing cities like delhi, hyd, bangalore with its new metro and sea links.
It has lot of potential and would be leading city in south asia for a long time to come.
i’m posting the view of Bombay as seen from the air. it’s a beautiful video. the highrises you see is NOT in downtown Bombay…The Bombay City Centre is some 30 miles to the south [left side of the aircraft].
