its not a zoo, its good old fashion jungle. After africa india is the only place i guess where tigers still live in wild.
a lot of states have huge reserves called jim corbett tiger projects, in which you see tigers, lions and other animals live their natural habitat.
those people you see taking pictures are on jungle safari , just like they have in africa.

those jungles spread in hundreds of miles. in bengal they have worlds largest delta called sunderban which is totally taken over by maneater tigers. only place in the world where tigers eat humans.

there are no tigers in africa,90 percent of them are in india, reaming in bangladesh and other south-east countries ,tigers are dying breed :\
