Now the average man in India lives under a dollar a day, so how does a communication sat help him exactly? He gonna get on his cell phone and make a phone call worth a dollar?

Cell phone call costs have been driven so low in India that they cost paisas and not dollars. Is this because of ISRO’s communication satellites, I don’t know exactly.

But why do you not consider satellites like EDUSAT that helps to bring quality education to every nook and corner of India. Or for that matter weather satellites that help in predicting rainfall. That would help farmers right?And Ocean sat they say will help fishermen.
