If India was ever giving them weapons then this would have ended long time ago in LTTEs favour. The tamils living in the west are mostly srilankan tamils. There is a distinct accent of the tamil they speak. Malaysia, Indonesia, Maldives all have tamils sympathetic to Srilankan tamils.
Very true. The only time India has actually supported foreign rebels is in 1971. And we all know what happened then.
