India used 9 bowlers in first match,,, everybody except Dravid and Dhoni bowled..... :-)

Links for the matches? We can do better. How about if we stay up all night, stare at our computer screens for those eight long, exhausting hours and follow the ball-by-ball commentary at that award-stolen website?

From the looks of it India is gonna thrash the WIs big time....but stranger things have happened in cricket...

But i think the matches are going to start 6:30 AM EST so for once we would not have to be up all nite...

CricBuzz is reporting the start time for this match at 13:35 GMT hours. The DirectTV website has indicated 09:30 GMT.

At least we have two conflicting sources to look upto. Something is better than nothing.

I just looked at their entire fixture of matches in this series......why in the mother earth are there four (4) tests scheduled? If WICB is severely short on cash and on the receiving end of billions of dollars in debt, why not just go ahead and schedule another test match for the sake of a clear-cut winner while pocketing another bag of nickels and quarters? From both India's and West Indies's point of view and their Future Tours Programme, there is plenty of time in-between after this series and the start of (both of) their next ones (at least a one-month gap for both).

This has got to stop. There is simply no point in playing an even number of test matches, and moreover, scheduling a total number of five (5) tests with current West Indies line-up is even more ridiculous.

Todays Match washed out due to Rain. And 2nd one too in danger. That sucks! why the hell u keep matches in cities where you expect weather to be a spoil-sport.

Despite all the rain, the excellent drainage system at the Sabina Park ensured that there was a good chance of play in the first one-day international. The umpires announced that they will inspect the conditions at 9.30am local time (1430GMT). If the weather stays dry, play might start as early as 10.30 or 11am.

Hello and welcome to the live coverage of the first one-day
international between West Indies and India.
The ground was hit by heavy overnight rain and downpours this
morning but remarkably enough the ground seems to be drying up lot
faster than expected. It's still very overcast but the weather is
clearing up and the news from the middle is that start will be
delayed by an hour.
Next inspection is set for 9.30 am local time (1430GMT).
It will be nothing less than a miracle if we get a start here today
considering the amount of rain that hit the ground in the past 24
hours.
Till half-an-hour ago this match was deemed as a wash-out, but it
looks like everyone under-estimated the drainage facility at this
newly built stadium!
We will keep you updated as things move along.

Indian captain Rahul Dravid has won the toss and elected to bowl
first.

   The sun's come out and the chances of the game starting looks good.
    The players are warming up and the groundstaff are doing their bit
    to get the game started as soon as possible
   News just filters in that the umpires are looking at a 15:30 GMT
    start and it will be a 45-overs per side game, that's in 30
    minutes time.
