India in Australia!

2 golden ducks this series....
tendlia must be so happy....
i know i am :)
i just love see tendlia walking in and out of the ground without causing pain to his bat....

Once again - the Indian tail sucked ! I have always maintained that the strength of the lower half of India's batting line-up is a total contrast to the top order. I feel India badly needs a real allrounder who can hold the tail together OR atleast a wicket-keeper in the Gilchrist/Moin Khan mould - who has real batting skills. Parthiv Patel/Agarkar do not inspire any confidence but it was most agonizing to see how Kumble was facing up to Lee today. I mean I did not expect him to bat like Dravid but he was batting like a school kid and sort of running away from the wicket or defending with his arms/elbows etc.... before Williams ended his misery.

Anywayz, looks like the Aussies have put India on a leather hunt and I am sure I am not just being "negative" when I say that a massive innings defeat awaits India.

More than the Indian players, I think the Indian media learns from this and not create too much hype on one-off wins.

new zealand have got some great tailenders, who perform better than the top order. i thought zaheer khan was an all rounder, (correct me if i am wrong) and wat abt agarkar?

my age is probably his average in test this yr because he played quality sides,
[/QUOTE]

just so you know his test avg is 3.5 times your age.His avg against the best side in the world is 3 times your age. His avg against weak sides is 5 times your age. No of test centuries twice your age, no. of half centuries 2.5 times your age. above all his 2 year old kid's mental age is more than yours.

that said, I am all for him being dropped from the side.

:nono3: not so quick pal… his presence alone is a huge support for other players, I think.

Waugh hit on the arm it looks now flexing and checking his elbow
Physio on
lovely shot of a huge swelling on the elbow of waugh
Waugh is going off!

i hate waugh, looks like india giving ausie some of its own medicine

pontine plays really well against the indians!

2 wickte right now can change the game on India's way again. if aussies cannot get more than 70-75 runs lead then game is on. batting 4th on this wicket would be really bad.

^ So u think.... looks like the Aussies are well on their way to score 700 plus and I do not think they will need to bat again in this test.

Aussies 520/6 .

Kumble on the verge of another 5 wickets haul. This is exactly how Mr Kumble, a pseudo spinner, has managed to retain his place in the team. The opposition will score 600 runs, Kumble will bowl 70 overs and take 5/250. For the dumb Indian selectors , the 5 wickets will be enough to retain him for the next test.

Another note to self :
Ricky Ponting continues his love affair with the Indian bowling. If you take out Ponting , the other Aussie batsmen have not really delivered very much (ok Hayden scored a century too in this innings) but it has really been Ponting alone who has blunted the Indian bowling so far.

Why is it that some batsmen take a liking for the Indian bowling and retain their "taste" through their career... Saeed Anwar, Richie Richardson, Sanath Jaisurya come to mind .....

.. Looks like I am the only one out here....

Anywayz India 19/2

Sehwag again falls playing as though India's chances depended on the run rate.

India 366 & 19/2 (4.5 ov)
Australia 558 ... match slipped out of India's hands.. :(

2 wickets already lost in 10 overs for 27 runs!

Indians have to dig down hard and do something very very special now to even draw this game!

10Dulkar was demoted and Ganguly came into bat at number 4. Is this lack of trust by Captain on 10Dulkar's form?

The guy is alrady underpressure. that situation would have even worst for him.. I would say it was a wise decision by Ganguly...

But as the game looks, both Pakistan and India are on the verge to loose the Match.. Pakistan's Match might end up in draw. but India one looks pretty clear... Only Weather can help both the teams :)

Oh My God did I see Prathiv Patel sitting on Irfan Pathan's lap when the second wicket fell?

Just for the record, Akash Chopra was clearly unlucky to have been given out caught behind. The replays clearly showed his bat was nowhere near the ball.
... not that it makes any difference to the inevitable result.

I dont know what David Shephard was thinking when he gave chopra out.

It will take a lot from India to save this match from here. Its difficult but not impossible. One 300 partnership like in Adelaide can do it.But then will it happen?? Its gona be intresting tomorrow.

No big deal. PP must have wanted a cuddle and story before he went out to bat...

Very astute of you to notice. Today I was fuming seeing the top batsmen take runs at will against Kumble, and his stupid scowling face whenever a fielder failed to stop a boundary. Could anyone like, assasinate him?
