I am curious. Why did you highlight this?

Because it is good for Indian bowlers.

So what Waseem does in his free time is more important than what your captain says after taking special time out for the press?
Right on :k:

Going with the intention of not losing is a defeatist attitude. It brings out the defensive qualities in the players and they end up losing. The attitude must be to win the match. India has the upper hand. They should press for a victory rather than sit on their laurels and lead.

After a decade of losing maybe I'm defeatist. That's why I adore Ganguly; he's stated he's going in with the intention to win. This guy will teach us to stop having defeatist mentalities.:D:

ahem - Martin Love didn’t failed - he had score of 94 and 11 - plus he had triple ton just before the start of the Test series - Micheal Clarke was another success story
i just can’t see Simon Kitach playing a huge part in Test just like Micheal Bevan in ODI when Aussies are in trouble.
India wins the toss and elects to bat....
Zaheer Khan in for Irfan Pathan...
I feel Pathan should have been retained in place of Nehra...
Prediction: India will lose the test. :(
^Yep, you can't fool all the people all the time !

The match has just started so on what basis can you say that?
im hoping hayden will have a big test and crush the erratic indian bowling
chopra getting hit in the head, i had flashes of wat shoaib did 2 gnguly in india
26.6 Lee to Chopra, FOUR, short bll into his hip nd tapped nicely down
to fine leg
26.5 Lee to Chopra, FOUR, short ball cut out wide of slip
26.4 Lee to Sehwag, one run, driven to cover
26.3 Lee to Sehwag, FOUR, cut hard out behind point
Is this something, or is this something ?

Well i'm watching it live and i can say for sure Sehwag is growing in confidence and Aussies are edgy and a bit in panic as their is almost no movement off the deck and the both openers can duck underneath the bouncers ..... the only problem sofar is the indifferent bounce which may cause the odd trouble
If India don't play any hint of stupid games from here on they'll atleast end up drawing the series if not winning it
India is dominating Aussie bowling 182/1 :k:
Sehwag 115*
Now if the indian bowlers can put a decent fight than I am sure india can win this test too and kick Aussies where it hearts more :). I think the opner gave really a good stand for the later commers to bat and build a big total, not to mention the first half an hour which was a treat to watch from a bowling point of view. Lee coming in and bowncers all over boy that was great to watch.
What a game!
Full of excitement from the beginning. Man, Brett Lee seems to be more trouble then help, as he's caused so much problems for Australia.
Good century by Sehwag, playing his natural game after the 50.
Australian's are getting nervous, and eratic fielding display's. Indian's are not even giving MacGill a chance to fit in (which is a smart move). India can overcome the boxing day, and dominate Australia, when Australia is usually on the other hand for Melbourne Tests.
Tendylya is the new Bombay Duck. Taking over from ducky duck agarkar
Tendylya should not be selected for next test, Ramesh should be given chance.
