India in Australia!

great come back Indian Team..
well played India, Specially the Slip fielders and Zaheer ;)..
he was the only difference in Indian Bowling.
any way this Ganguly news is pretty sickening and harsh :(..

This is the new penalty system which has come into force and Ganguly unfortunately is going to be its first victim. Overall I think it is a good idea because it will force the captains not to employ the negative tactic of time wasting and slow over rates. It will overall improve the enjoyment of the game.

Is it a new system? I thought it was already in place except referees never enforced it the way they should have. Mike Proctor is the referee and apparently he got a rap on knuckles when he didn't do anything about Sarwan and Mcgrath's spat on the field.

If Ganguly is suspended it'll be typical of what many referees do - punish the brown and leave the white. Rules are enforced and the ICC is happy.

Very impressive showing again by India in the 6 overs of the day. Mcgill went first ball and the openers did not look petrified or anything. Keep it up Viru and Akash! :k:

I thought it had replaced the old fine system.

Ehsan, you could be right. Anyway, Ganguly still has time to make up for the lost overs. We can’t afford to lose him for the next test. Dravid would captain and do a lousy job.

People’s, isn’t it funny how a bowling coach can do wonders in just one day? All these years Zaheer apparently didn’t know what was wrong with his action and Reid corrected it in a few hrs! Why didn’t we find Mr Reid in March…

Correctives on Zaheer did wonders

Just imagine had Wasim dada been the coach, Australia would have been out for less then 275.

Usual uncompetance from Australia off the field - i mean that's smart ain't it - when is it best to have a Test Match in Brisbane? In the rainy season - yeah that's about the levels that Australians seem to work at these days...

Anyway it does look like the match is gonna end in a draw.

I think in this first inning Zaheer bowled well even though he had some help due to rain but comparing his bowling in this inning with TVS cup I think the guy did really well. In TVS cup I lost all respect for Zaheer cuz he was converting his single over into double. But he really impressed me in the 1st inning agaisnt Aussies. :k:

Errm, I shall not take the bait you..you...;)

Anybody know if they will be playing today or not?
Good bowling by India so far, maybe play Kumbley instead of Singh and the results could further improve.....

Sachin given out LBW..ball hit way too high Tony Graig and Shane waren wsaid unbelieveable decision by umpire....Pitches out side off stump bounces and hits him way out of the off stum...no emotions shown by sachin, love the guy Hits him on the back leg....Indian crowd saying Woooo after seeing the replay....

horrible decision by bucknor. ball hit sachin high on back leg, clearly going over the stumps. bowler kept on appealing and umpirte raised his finger. :nook:

That was a horrible decision. Reminds of the 1999 series, when Sachin was out LBW when the ball hit at the level of his chest or something (?).

Anyways the ball was totally out of the line of offstump, really high, and it took Bucknor so long to decide if he's out.

Do umpires get peniolized for their mistakes?

Thats what they are talking about....did u guys subscribe the match at PPV?

Umpires are human too…they also make mistakes. But I agree…this was a terrible decision by the usually reliable Steve Bucknor :nook:

^ Usually reliable? haha. That kallu has been giving bad decisions against India from day of this test. I guess he was so worried that India might take the game away he gave Sachin out first chance he got! Stupid Aussie chamcha!
