I think that sexual abuse of children is a huge problem everywhere. The difference is that in Pakistan and India it is hidden, and those guilty usually aren't punished. Also I don't think that kids are taught to be as aware of the possibilities, so parents don't specifically tell them that no one should ever touch you in certain places, etc.

The biggest problem in the subcontinent is probably sexual abuse in the family. It is almost always hushed up, and the abuser usually moves on to other girls in the family. I have heard of several cases of this.
