I have seen a number of threads here created by foolish mischief mongers seeking to create a false impression of India’s attitude towards muslims. Just so these fools stop committing such sin I’d like to post these headlines from today.

NEW DELHI: India on Monday condemned Israel’s use of force against Palestinians in Gaza and said it was preparing a relief package for its civilians who were blockaded and denied basic amenities, including food and fuel.
Warning that in the absence of negotiations, peace “threatens to become a casualty in the region and for its peoples, irrespective of boundaries, cultures and history,” India said it was ready to extend additional assistance to help the people of Palestine.
“A package of such assistance is being worked out and will be announced shortly. India also stands ready to help the peace process move forward,” said a spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs.
India followed the recent events in Gaza and the West Bank with “deep concern and anguish,” the spokesperson said.
“The misery and hardship faced by the people of Palestine, especially in the Gaza Strip, is deplorable. India condemns the use of force on the civilian population of Palestine and calls upon all sides, including Israel, to exercise restraint.”

Kashmir justice? As we fix the miscreants that went overboard within the Indian army, also tell Pakistan to stop meddling. That is when people will get justice.
Secondly - everyone better understand that separatist movements regardless of any part of the country will have to be met with stiff measures. If there are underlying issues, there is a way to surface and get them redressed and violent means is not it.
by AP do you mean Andra or Arunachal? Also can you provide specifics on what injustices in Jharkhand Chattisgar? I will certainly agree with you if they are true.
After all we as a country have so many injustices handed down to us due to the poverty caused by some 8 centuries+ of rule by invaders, that we cannot eliminate them all in 65 years - by sheer nature of this problem, we find ourselves swapping each problem for a slightly lesse problem .....as long as it is progressing in that direction we are doing the right thing.
PS: Condemning Israel is to add voice to reduction of violence in that part of the world. Yes it does matter - because when we say "voice of the world" we are 1/6th of that din. Plus we are sending supplies and aid to Palestine. I pointed this out to show the people here who often criticize India forgetting we have the largest population of muslims that can be called living in peace.

HHmm..does condemning Israel's acts means being good to Muslims?? i dont get it. if you want to be good to one, you gotta act baddie to someone else. condemning Israels deeds have nothing to do with keeping the Indian Muslims happy. if someone does something inhuman, it gets condemned regard less the major religion it follows.
and about Pakistanis criticizing India's attitude towards Muslims, well an almost even number of Indians too have tried to throw vemon on Pakistan regarding itz attitude towards Pakistani Minorities.
