India beaten again

LAHORE, March 26:Pakistan has gained 2-0 lead in the five-match deaf cricket series against India when they earned a sensational one-wicket win in the second match at the Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad on Saturday , according to information received here.
Set to score 163 to win, Pakistan romped home for nine wickets in 38.3 overs. Mohammad Shakeel, who remained unbeaten for 16 with Naeem Beg (0), played a key role in the team’s victory.
He also took two wickets for 33 runs to be declared as Man-of-the-Match. Bilal Aslam (32, two fours, 47 balls), Mohammad Saeed (27), two fours, 47 balls), Naseer Ahmed (26, three fours, 28 balls) were the other key scorers for Pakistan.
Off-spinner Virbhadra Rahood took four wickets for 39 while leg-spinner Virender Singh captured two wickets for 18.
Virender hit 52 with the help of four fours off 76 balls as India made 162 all out with 4.1 overs to spare to the allotted 45 overs.
Vinay Seghal (36, two fours) was the only other major scorer.
Besides Shakeel, medium-pacer Naeem Beg (2-44), captain and off-spinner Zaka Ahmad (2-45) and leg-spinner Naveed Ashraf (2-33) were the main wicket takers. The third match is scheduled to be held in Peshawar on Monday.
