**Three Sikh terrorists arrested **
Paramjit Singh Bheora, chief of Sikh terror outfit Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) and one of the most wanted militants in the country, was arrested here yesterday along with two associates, police said. Police said the outfit was trying to set up bases in Delhi and the militants had come here to find a suitable place. “It seems the outfit is trying to regroup and establish bases in the country and these arrests are an indication of their motive,” said Karnail Singh, joint commissioner of Special Cell of Delhi Police. He added that special teams were sent to Jaisalmer (Rajasthan), Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh) and Punjab where the group had found some close associates and formed bases. The official sais the militants were coming to Delhi from Punjab when they were arrested at Naglipura on GT Karnal Road in northwest Delhi after a brief encounter. The other two terrorists with Paramjit were identified as Jasbir Singh and Bhupendra Singh. “We were looking for him for the past nine months,” said Singh. He added that Paramjit was involved in the assassination of former Punjab chief minister Beant Singh and also planned to assassinate Bhajan Lal, former Haryana chief minister. Singh said that Paramjit was also one of the accused wanted for carrying out bomb blasts in two cinema halls in the capital on May 22 last year. Police have recovered four kg RDX, three pistols, three detonators, a remote control device with wireless set and a timer from the terrorists. “The group was planning to carry out terror attacks in the capital,” said Singh. Paramjit was coming to Delhi to go to Moradabad where he had to collect a large sum of money from a close associate who had received the amount through hawala or money laundering channel, police said.
