I read that the Pakiostani-Indian drug cartels and illegal weapon sellers often work together, as a bigger South Asian cartel, to boost the international standing of the involved ppl-obviously drugs are bad, but my point is if they can do it, why cant our legit businesses have more peer-peer cooperatiopn and ultimately resault in a huge South Asian free trade aera.
We could limit it to certain items to start, but the gesture would be huge and risk of war would plummet, no one wants a war if your economies are linked. It worked in Europe after WW2 with the ECSC betwen Germany-France, so why cant we follow that model.
Most Indians/Pakistanis I’ve spoken to on the idea (its not mine-thats obviios) think its grand.
