It is very likely that every party did rigging, the most-rigging party hence won. We go back to square one, rigging needs to be investigated, process overhauled, punishments carried out, reelections on affected seats.

Sorry but this has to be most ridiculous reason for govt not taking him seriously. Govt or anybody does not take someone seriously if they think that other person is incapable of doing what he is saying/claiming.

If govt had information then they MUST have preempted his move and completed investigation so he had no grounds to gather people up against govt.

Still unbelievable, this looks like whistle-blowing within the NSF instead of across the govt institutions.

First of all rigging is not going to constitute more than 5% of the votes. 95% of the votes will be genuine. People will be saying that MQM did vote rigging in Karachi, PPP did vote rigging Sindh, and in KP, ANP and PPP are saying they could not conduct an election campaign because of threat from TTP, whilst PTI enjoyed patronage.

To put things in perspective even assuming that PML N indulged in vote rigging only 3% of the votes would have been affected. In KP PTI benefitted at the expense of ANP and PPP who did not campaign and left the field open for PTI.

Preemption is all well and good and I think that they should have done that but where does it stop, with hindsight I don’t think preemption would have made any difference because under one pretext or another PTI would still have played the vote rigging card, however now they have seen their actual popular support despite support from the “umpire”.
