That amount of freedom is found in most non-Muslim countries today. Nothing special about the Us. Isn’t it?

I don’t want to make it an America bashing thread. But this stuff about land of opportunity is just a slogan today. Today there is very little movement in social classes in the US. Rich stay rich. Poor stay poor. In most cases.

Not really. You can’t say the same about Russia or China or North Korea and several other non-muslim states in Africa. You are right though, US is not unique, but it is July 4th. That is what is special.

Probably true about the social classes. But not true about the opportunities. We just saw Whatsapp’s co-founder, a poor immigrant, become a billionaire. Still feel there are more opportunities here than most other countries.
