Independance day -A day free to do bad things?

I heard something today which surprised me.

apparently in Pakistan people feel they are free to do anything on this day…because its independance day.

someone told me of this story that happened today:

some girls were sitting at some shop eating something…and their parents were also with them…I tihnk the father was in the car…or maybe went to get something.

anyway some guys came upto these two girls and started touching them …when the father came to stop them…one of these guys slapped the girls father and they all ran away.

apparently some families dont bring their women out on this day…cuz of these uneducated/ignorant idiots who think they can do absolutely anything on this day.

i was shocked…has anyone else witnessed anything like this?

p.s. this happened in Lahore, Pakistan

are you doing pharmacy by any chance too?

pharmacy practice…u mean dispensing. I hate it …we make one little mistake and we get a zero mark (negative marking)

but im enjoying it

I thought you would enjoy being a phaarmist. I hate that word ‘Dispencing’
Because all the ‘Dispenceries and their rackets’ in Pakistan come to mind,
I had to go to one to get vaccination shots for visas to embark on mideast road/train journey by 3 school consortium, way back in 1976
