India has lost another final to New Zealand. As India’s new coach has failed to help them win a final, Indians will either be firing him or he will be making new promises.
In either case, Indian team need to attend some course that can help them win a final and tough games.
Please help Indian Cricket Board with your ideas.

India’s inability to win when it matters

A spectre haunts India. And no, it’s not just Shane Bond. It’s the larger and more ominous one of a tournament final. As impressive as the Ganguly-Wright partnership has been over the past five years, India have had an abysmal record when it comes to winning when it really matters. In fact the only final that India have won since 2000 is the NatWest series final in July 2002 against England at Lord’s. That was indeed a worthy victory but India were looking at yet another defeat in a final until Yuvraj Singh and Mohammad Kaif rescued India from the throes of despair at 146 for 5 while chasing 326 for victory.

and one of them was against bangladesh....so in essence they have won only one final since 1999!

I dont mean to defend indian team. But our pakistani has not done great in finals either. Differnce is that Pakistani team is showing a lot more fight in these finals than indians.

Yes you are right. Pak does not have a pretty good record, but Inzy and boys were subjected to:
Pak100: Domestic Performances (Prerequisite)
Pak200: Team Work
Pak412: Match Fixing
Pak413: Fitness and attitude problems
Pak414: Reasonable Media appearances
Pak500: Religions
These courses helped a lot. Boys worked hard to learn and they are improving constantly. Though there is still room for:
Pak415: Politics in Sports
Following a similar pattern, Indian team must be subjected to courses that suit them the most.

Or like one of the commentators said, its the basics they need to return to. I saw the NZ innings and indians dropped atleast 3-4 easy catches.

I dont think anyone is going to object to any indian coach if team india losses any number of finals … coach is in trouble only when india fails to reach the finals …
