Agarkar, and moving away, forces Jayasuriya into the shot, the
ball takes the outside edge and flies to Dravid at slip, who puts

Dravid was in two minds when he was trying to take that catch and standing very stiff so after he fumbled he really didnt have any chance to recover. Kinda flet bad for him the way he was shaking his head after dropping the ball. In anycase not a whole lot of damage done, as Jaysuria perished even after the life given to him.

Due credit my foot…

Agarkar has been around for 7-8 years , yet he has not been able to establish his place in the side. What does that tell you about him.

No other player has got as many chances as him.

Sorry, but a few wickets here and there will not impress me. He remains a pie-thrower.

No question about it…There have been so many young bowlers(e.g. Amit Bhandari, Avishkaar Salvi etc) who were introduced to international cricket and dumped forever after a few matches…and here we have Agarkar who continues to get chances.

I also feel sorry for Balaji too. For no reason he is out of the team. He performed creditably in Zimbabwe and against Pakistan - yet he is side lined. btw, Balaji can bat better than Agarkar - as far as I am concerned.
