Ind v Eng downgraded to First Class

Due to the recent plethora of injuries to England team, ECB has requested the series be downgraded to First Class series. The results will have no impact on the current ICC rankings.

BCCI will consider ECB’s request as soon as they are done selling TV rights to Nimbus.

That is bullcrap. Injuries are part of the game. Both countries are senior test playing nations, they should have enough players to fill in, incase of injuries. Just because you dont have enough quality players available, doesnt mean you go and ask for the series to be called off or be called first class.
