Pak has owned four 26/11 terrorists: state minister

Pakistan accepts boyd of four out of nine terrorists killed in mumbai 26/11 episode.. Realizations is coming in stages..

I wonder why this same story plays agai and again.. Even in kargil first it complete denial and refusal to accept the boyd of pak army soldiers. India had to give them the burial befitting a soldier.

Mind you despite the fact that Sourabh kaliya indian miltary officer’s mutiliated body was returned to India ( read here Saurabh Kalia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) all the osldiers killed whose body pakistan refused to accept as their own got respectful burial.. recently one of that soldier got some award in Pakistan on recommendation of indian security force for his valour in Kargil war.

Why not accept the reality upfront why this war of deception attrition…

Still other terrorists from that lot of ten are not being owned and I am sure when the evidence piles and denial becomes untenable even these rest of LET foot soldiers body will be accepted..

blah , blah , blah . Your only purpose in life seems to flame and troll Pakistani forums. Do something constructive for a change. Can you do something positive to create love and peace between the people of these neighboring countries. You are furthering the agenda of some politicians , military leader and religious fanatics from both sides who are in the business of hate mongering.

It was another succesful attack by Kashmiri freedom fighters against a nation of terrorsits. Just like Kargil was a succesful attack on Indian occupation of KASHMIR.

Sadly the freedom fighters have begun to bite the hand that has served them for all these years. Lahore and SWAT comes to mind. Keep giving a damn and one day these freedom fighters will take over your beloved country...

India “freed” 9 out of the 10 “freedom” fighters in Mumbai; the remaining one will also get eternal freedom shortly.

The ones still remaining in Pakistan now want to free Pakistan - from the clutches of civilization :slight_smile: And before they do that they want to make sure they give eternal freedom to a few thousand Pakistanis.

If what Pakistan got after KArgil is success then i wish all the success in the world..

Are you claiming 26/11 was attack by kashmirir terrorists like Kargil..Is it admission of direct involvement of pakistani soldiers just like in Kargil..

I think pak govt is still to acknowldege it so you are ahead of them in that respect

Here it’s been refuted:

ISLAMABAD/MUMBAI: Pakistan has denied it had agreed to accept the bodies of four of the nine terrorists killed in the 26/11 Mumbai carnage as has been claimed by the MaharashtraPakistan Foreign Office spokesperson Abdul Basit told Online news agency in Islamabad that reports on this in the Indian media were baseless and fabricated.

“He strongly condemned this attitude of the Indian media and said that it was not a suitable time to publish such kind of baseless news items when only very recently the prime ministers of Pakistan and India had held a very important meeting in Sharm El Sheikh while the next course of secretary level dialogue was going to be held in New York on the (sidelines) of the UN General Assembly session,” Online said.

Basit said Pakistan’s high commission in New Delhi had never made any request to India on handing over the dead bodies of four of the 26/11 attackers.

He also wanted the Indian media to avoid carrying stories that might derail the Pakistan-India dialogue.

Maharashtra home minister Jayant Patil said in Mumbai on Monday that Pakistan had owned up to four of the nine terrorists who were gunned down during the Nov 26-29, 2008 attacks.

“Now, we shall pursue with the centre that Pakistan should accept the bodies of all the nine (terrorists) gunned down by security forces. We hope this matter will be sorted out in the next 10 days,” Patil told reporters.

Patil said he was informed that the Pakistan government had accepted as its nationals four of the nine who carried out the 26/11 terror operation in Mumbai.

The bodies of nine terrorists are lying in the morgue of the Sir J.J. Hospital for the past nine months and their condition is not very good, Patil said.

When asked what the authorities would do about disposing of the bodies if Pakistan refused to accept them, Patil said that would be decided at the appropriate time.

Nine of the 10 terrorists, who attacked the city were killed in fierce gun battles with security forces during the 60-hour long operation last year at various places in the western metropolis.

Only one - Ajmal Amir Kasab - was captured alive and he is currently being tried in a Mumbai court.

Lying and then backing out is not a new thing to Indian minister either. remember your minister refusing ever calling Pakistan in a fit of anger over mumbai saga, and when he was put in his place he shut up rather quickly. :hehe:

If Pak was capable of waging an all out war they would have done it in 1948. The fact that their army has always hidden behind "non-state fighters" shows exactly what they are capable of.

Pak army since then have stopped denying that those killed were their armymne only few expat pakistanis in utter embarrassment have chosen to keep their eyes shut and ears plugged
