Increasing violence amongst teenagers

I read BBC regularly and I have noticed a very worrying trend.

BBC News - Boys sorry for web attack on girl

That is just one article, but i have noticed that teenage violence has been on the increase drastically over the past years. When i was in school, nobody beat up each other let alone made video tapes of it.

This has also increased in the US as well. A rather worrying development considering your kid could end up being a victim of these *******s. This also begs the question is it nature or nurture?

Yesterday in college, I walked into one of the bathrooms upstairs (which isn’t really used much) and I saw two school girls sitting there on the floor with their bottles of vodka and cigarettes. Me walking in on them didn’t make a difference to them. Neither did I say anything to them. I walked back out, told my friend and she wasn’t surprised. She said “I’ve seen empty wine bottles in there many times, and I’m sure the caretakers have too”

And their parents must be thinking their lovely daughters are in school getting some valuable education!

This nation never fails to surprise me with its obsession with drinking but at least when I was in school, I never heard of any girl in school going to a deserted bathroom in a college to get drunk!

The youth is effed up, dude, it is. All signs of qayamat :hmmm:
