i am just wondering if any one tell me how to increase computer’s speed like wat will be the procedure to get Additional Ram for ur computer
My computer’s speed is around 248 MB.Is this speed is enough or i have to increase the speed …

As a second thought, follow the instructions below then tell us what exact specs of your computer & we can suggest better.
In ur windows, click "Start" & then select "Run"
in small box type "winmsd" (without quotes & wait for few seconds). It will open System Info
System Summary shows the specs, please print all of it (on the right column) here.

If you are running Windows XP then i would recommend going up to 1024 mb (1 gb). If you are running Windows 98 then you are fine wit 256 mb. :)

I think you should add some memory and go min 512MB or ideally 1GB. Your processor/CPU is all fine. Also make sure you keep your system clean, install CCleaner and wipe it once a week. Keep firewall enabeld. Run SpyBot to clear any spyware on your system.

From specs it looks like for normal use of computer u only need extra RAM.

well .. if you wanna use ur PC just for word processing n internet stuff .. then 256 is more than enough.... going to 512MB or 1024MB is something thats ideal ....
i'd been personnaly using a machine with same specs. but for development prposes .. using Visual studio 2003 and oracle 9i ... so doesn't seems to be a problem ..
no need to upgrade.

hmm ....i use my home PC only for internet surfing and word processing ...... dozens of pics saved in my PC.......i wants to save movies.. so for that purpose i think 256m is not enough.
