Income Support Program

Since Zardari’s party is in power, there is lot i heard about this Benazir Income Support program, in which certain families will get Rs. 1000/month.

With the economy situation we are in, is this income support program feasible… i mean, to start with, the amount is not even near to be called sufficient to support any family by any mean.

Why don’t govt. invest the same amount of money is revenue generating business and give people an opportunity to develop themselves. Why the govt. is promoting begging-behaviuor, while with the same amount of money govt. can launch a project which will somehow have +ve impact on the economy…and everyone will benefit

PPP is more of a socialist party, hence the program, remember 70s?
